Two Views on the French Revolution

Abstract: A 10 page research paper that analyzes two books on the causes of the French Revolution-- Bailey Stone (The Genesis of the French Revolution) and Georges Lefebvre (The Coming of the French Revolution). While these two historians disagree on particular points, they are largely in agreement the primary impetus towards revolution came from the inability of the French monarchy and its government to function. No additional sources cited.
