Health Care Rationing

Abstract: A 7 page consideration of the ethical impacts of health care rationing. The author asserts that a combination of our longer life spans and more and more elaborate and expensive medical technology has resulted in stressed health care resources. Patients clamor for optimized care and the medical profession and our political system struggle with how to provide for the most people without a sacrifice of the quality or equability of care.
