British Discourses of Race: Historical Changes

Abstract: A 6 page discussion of the many factors that have influenced racial discourse in Great Britain over time. These include immigration, globalization, and liberalism. The Internet too has been an important factor in changing racial discourse. One of the most influential factors in British discourses of race in recent years, however, has been popular culture and the media that perpetuates that culture. Bibliography lists 5 sources.
