Study Feasibility and Proposal

Abstract: A 7 page term paper proposal for a quantitative analysis class proposing a statistical analysis of traffic deaths in which alcohol is a factor. Specifically, the study will investigate alcohol's influence in fatal crashes as it relates to speed, sex, time of day and age. All data will come from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) National Center for Statistics and Analysis (NCSA); the study will consider only the data reported for 2005. This study is expected to demonstrate that younger drivers are more likely to be involved in fatal crashes when alcohol is a factor. Bibliography lists 6 sources.
