Past approaches to business relations between and among the workforce left little option beyond the conventional method of having one person in charge over the entire staff without benefit of sharing ideas, discussing and learning from conflict or recognizing employees as a collective entity with the power to enhance corporate performance. Today, however, the climate of organizational culture has metamorphosed to such an extent that teamwork is not merely a catchword for industry performance but rather a viable commodity with which businesses are realizing significant success.
