Relationship between Economic and Political Power

Abstract: A 6 page research paper that examines some of the most influential and famous works of the Enlightenment. During the eighteenth century, inspired by new and revolutionary discoveries in science, Western political philosophers such as Locke, Rousseau, Smith, Paine and Jefferson reevaluated the nature of political authority and how it related to what they regarded as the natural rights of mankind.
