The Health Care Continuum

Abstract: An 8 page paper discussing current changes in the health care industry in light of the perspective of Odin Anderson, a sociologist who examined the US health care industry as it existed in the late 1920s to analyze the "turning" of health care in the United States in the early years of the 20th century, a change that gained form and momentum throughout the middle years of the century to come to the place where we are today. The paper discusses socio-economic conditions, demographic changes, political climate and health status. Bibliography lists 12 sources.
