Rapid Response Team: Quick Recognition And Intervention Of Problems At Va Medical Centers

Abstract: 15 pages in length. Assembling a rapid response team for quick recognition and intervention of problems at VA medical centers is an objective that is being addressed in a number of ways; with the ever-evolving nature of health care and the responsibility inherent to maintaining quality of care, it is imperative for the ongoing development of programs that serve to bridge the chasm that oftentimes exists where patient care and proper medical interface fail to meet because of poorly defined operational roles. The VA has taken seriously the challenge to see that preventable problems remain that way with a proactive approach. Bibliography lists 17 sources.
