Gender And Socialization: Nature Or Nurture?

Abstract: 8 pages in length. Distinguishing between nature and nurture where gender construct is concerned means looking more closely at the biological (genetic) versus environmental (cultural) components. The extent to which both elements play a role with regard to gender performance of mental rotation tasks is both grand and far-reaching; that nurture (socialization) takes precedence where the spatial performance of these tasks are concerned speaks to how certain learned behaviors influence the response time between male and female.
