Bioidentical Hormones

Abstract: 3 pages in length. Hormones play an integral role in balancing the body's overall physiological and psychological stability; when certain occurrences take place that throw off this delicate hormonal balance, people need to supplement those missing levels in order to regain balance. The desire of many to stay away from synthetic hormones, however, has prompted the growing use of bioidentical hormones, which are created to mirror the same molecular makeup as what the body already produces.
