Hepatotoxicity/Mechanisms

Abstract: A 16 page research paper that offers a review of the literature on hepatotoxicity, which is the capacity of a substance to produce damaging effect on the liver, is a constant concern in regards to drug therapies. In many cases, a drug is known to cause hepatotoxicity, but the mechanisms behind this effect have not been fully explored. This literature review explores issues of hepatotoxicity in regards to various drug therapies and what is known about the mechanisms causing these toxic effects. Bibliography lists 12 sources.
