Expanding Primary Care at Blackwell Health System

Abstract: A 9 page paper discussing an approach to planning a primary care center at a fictional teaching hospital associated with a fictional medical school. The paper recommends establishing the equivalent of a permanent health fair to serve several purposes: serving the local community; providing access to care to uninsured people; and bringing back to the hospital those who need medical attention but would have been more likely to visit a private practice or walk-in clinic.
