Abstract: The Orenda Series V-8 Aero Engine : A 6 page paper discussing the new engine that will be available in 1999 for small aircraft. The Orenda Division promises to all but revolutionize the engine options available for twin- and single-engine aircraft manufactured under such nameplates as King Air, Piper and Cessna. The engine is a liquid-cooled aluminum V-8, representing innovation and a promising departure for the industry.
