Abstract: 3 pages in length. Since the dawn of the Industrial Age, the planet has been in a perpetual state of degradation from human activity; that such tremendous damage exists in virtually every aspect of man's progression over the last century speaks to an oversized environmental footprint left behind in the name of humanity's self-serving pursuits. The twenty-first century has become a watershed moment whereby considerable backpedaling is being undertaken in order to forestall anymore destruction and perhaps even reverse it by some degree, a movement that recognizes the impact of greening through sustainable development as one of the most important steps in the overall process.
