Exxon Valdez Oil Spill / Environmental Consciousness

Abstract: An 8 page research paper that explores Exxon's responsibility, both legal and moral, for the oil spill that occurred in 1989. Discussion includes a brief recount of the incident, legal and ethical issues, and concludes by suggesting that Kant was right -- laws must be made to assure businesses conduct themselves in ethical ways, thus laws to protect the environment must be stricter.
