Regionalizing Health Care Services In Canada

Abstract: An 8 page paper that begins by reporting the 1984 Canada Health Act, including the principles incorporated into that Act. The writer comments on the disparity of services from province to province. Due to rising costs, a new structure emerged, the Regional Health Authority. The paper comments on the effectiveness and efficiency of this new organizational structure, noting there are still disparities in access.
