Abstract: This 10 page paper considers a scenario where a student is Cross asked to participate in a cultural experience that is unfamiliar to them. The paper is written in the first person as an experience, with the reasons for the choice and the way it is perceived and fits in with cultural dimensions theories is discussed. The paper goes on to discuss how and why the experience will help the student to deal with cross cultural communications in the international business environment.
