Abstract: This 4 page paper is based on a case study provided by the student. A company is to undertake a project to examine the process of manufacture of widgets, with the aim of improving the process. The paper presents situation of way in a single take place, identifying different direct overhead costs, creating a time phased budget considering how costs may be reduced and assessing potential risks.
