HUMAN RIGHTS AND THE HOMELESS

Abstract: 15 pages in length. The concept of human rights is not bestowed only upon those who fall into specific categories but is granted to every single individual for not more prerequisite than being born. The extent to which socially deviant groups like the homeless are arbitrarily stripped of these rights is both grand and far-reaching; that society can so easily undertake such clearly unacceptable behavior speaks to the perpetually present power of social hierarchy that very deliberately violates virtually every human right still justly due to the homeless. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
